happy new year

I don't know about you, but I love to look back and reflect at the end of a year. It's a great time to reassess what's important and areas in your life you'd like to improve for the coming year. One of my goals for 2008 is to focus on the good things in my life instead of always thinking or worrying about the obstacles. To help me focus and remember, I made this little altered book yesterday. I hope to write in it once a day just to remind myself of all the things I have to be grateful for.
I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year's Eve! We're planning to watch a movie and sleep. =)

In keeping with the spirit of "looking back." I found this photo slide show the other day. I'm a total news junkie so this was right up my alley. There's definitely some "interesting" photos here!

As usual, you've outdone yourself. Where do you get all these cute ideas from?

And as for that slide show, if that doesn't make you tear up, then nothing will.
