It's so hard to believe it's already January and it's already 2010. How did that decade go by soooo fast? {And yes, that questions makes me feel soooo old!}

Now that things have calmed down a little with my photography business I'm making time to scrap again. I have missed it so much! Citrus Tree Studios is having a crop this weekend with some great challenges. I got three done last night and plan to get my scrap on again tonight. =)

I've also recently joined the community over at Studio Calico. There are so many talented scrappers there and I figure I can stalk them a little easier if I'm on their message board. Just kidding {sort of}. Seriously everyone over there is so sweet and encouraging and even though I can't subscribe to the kit {yet...hint, hint for anyone needing any birthday/Christmas gift ideas next year} they have fun challenges to play along with.

The first two were done with SC new line Homefront. It's totally not my style but I'm in LOVE! Aren't those colors gorgeous?!

This is my first attempt at an ATC. It was for a challenge at Citrus Tree and was a lot of fun to make.

anyone still here?

Guess I've taken a bit of a break from blogging. We've had a great summer! We've played countless games on the Wii, played outside in the baby pool a LOT, re-read the Twilight series (and already wanting to read it again!), gotten hooked on Friday Night Lights and 30 Rock (darn Netflix!), bought a NEW VAN, gone on Wednesday playdates, visited the McWane Center a couple times, taken a not-so-fun trip to the beach, and (gasp!) scrapbooked. I have to admit, my mojo has been gone for a while. Well, it's back now, baby!! =) Here are some pages I got done this weekend along with some others I did earlier this summer:

Ok, don't everyone fall over from shock but I actually have some layouts to share. I haven't scrapped in forever. I just can't get the energy or the mojo going. These layouts were all done last month or early this month for the Scrap4Life March challenges. The DT always posts awesome challenges!!
Carla posted a great sketch challenge this month and I liked the sketch so much that I kept using it over and over and over...

I am on a roll lately! Can you tell I'm super-proud of myself? LOL This past Saturday I went to a crop hosted by my friend Paulette and I got some more pages done. More importantly, I got to spend the day with some great girls and catch up with some friends! Love those kinds of days!!! Here are the pages I got done. Can you tell I was in a "get 'em done" kind of mood? =)

Here are some pages I've been working on for the past couple of months. I've done more than this but some of the pages have family members' pictures on them and they might not be too thrilled with their picture being broadcast on the internet. =) Anyway, I'm trying to get a lot of pages done before this little one gets here. Wish me luck!

summertime fun

We're totally enjoying summer at our
house. Being lazy, playing outside in the water, eating and sleeping whenever we feel like it....we're loving it! Here's a few pictures I took of my little man this past week.
